Walter Martinez Marconi (SoCal DroidBuilder)

This is a list of some of the robots by Walter Martinez who was born and raised in Honduras and now is an Information Technolgy proffesional and engineering technology lecturer near Los Angeles, California who has taken his robot building hobby to the next level by making robots for TV shows such as Battlebots, RobotWars (TNN), Taina (Nickelodean), The Neighborhood  (CBS), NetFlix Youtube Specials, Promotional work for movie Pacific Rim, consulting (non paid) for movie Transformer, TV commercials for Exxon and others. Controlled police and military robots for movie Breaking starting John Boyega, and tv shows The Rookie and Never Have I Ever. He has participated in dozens of competitions around the world and giving dozens of lectures and presentations on his creations including Comicons and others. Some are original designs and some are inspired by Star Wars droids including costumes. Walter is well known in the hobby robotics and droid builders around world and is an active member of the Robotics Society of Southern California having been president for three year.  Walter's love for robots happened after watching Star Wars as a kid in 1977 while growing up in Honduras. His focus was to study in America to build robots for television. Walter's dream has come true as some of his robots have appeared in various TV shows.
